Marshalltown's new Aquatic Center, west
of the YMCA-YWCA, is a great place to cool off on a warm summer day.

Kiwanis Park is a favorite for kids and their families.

One of Marshalltown's largest parks, Riverview Park is located along the
Iowa River on the North side of town. Left: State-of-the-art playground
equipment for the kids. Center and Right: Two views of the historic log
cabin at Riverview. This working log cabin is available for private
gatherings through our Parks and Recreation Department. A volleyball court
is located next to the structure, along with outdoor grills for cookouts.

Riverview Park also includes extensive landscaping and each spring it is
bursting with color. Each year, each flower bed is adopted by
various individuals or organizations in the community.

If you are interested in adopting a flower bed, contact the Parks &
Recreation Dept. All flower beds are planned and planted by the city's
horticulturist.

Riverview park is well known for the lagoon that flows lazily through the park.

Marshalltown is home to a lot of avid golfers. We have several courses
available. Here are some shots of American Legion golf course (left three photos)
and the Elmwood Country Club (right two photos).
