About Veterans Memorial Coliseum Commission

The Veterans Memorial Coliseum Commission oversees the operations, maintenance, and capital improvements to the building and works with the Parks and Recreation Director. The Memorial Coliseum Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Council.  Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of odd months (January, March, May, July, September, November). Five members serve for three-year periods. Members of the Commission must be Veterans.

Gary Long - term expires 1/1/18- VFW

Laurel Phipps - term expires 1/1/18-DAV 

Nicholas Salasek - term expires 12/31/19-Legion

Steve Storjohann - term expires 12/31/19-Vietnam Vets
